Brewing beer and protecting resources? A visit to a large brewery in Switzerland

Beer is very popular in Switzerland. Brewed from pure water, hops and malt, it contains only natural ingredients. Feldschlösschen, Switzerland’s largest brewery, processes enormous volumes of these ingredients.

The Green Economy Dialogue portal paid a visit to the brewery and asked: What is Feldschlösschen doing to ensure that it uses natural resources and raw materials as efficiently as possible? How does it contribute to maintaining a healthy environment – an essential ingredient for success in the beer business?
